The Hyperspin website is good for some material, emumovies for videos, and Google and Archive dot org for everything in between.įor this setup I used a properly named romset for Commodore Amiga in.
#What is hyperspin fan bearing install
Install the app on your NVIDEA Shield, and compile your roms and Hyperspin setup on an appropriately sized external harddrive/USB.Īs for the ROMs, videos, wheel images and all the aesthetic stuff you need to get your setup running, you will have to source that yourselves. Hyperspin is free and available on this very website. But there are still some hoops to jump through. Retroarch takes the pain out of some of this, since we don't need individual. Thanks go to Honosuseri over in this post for convincing me it was possible.Ĭommodore Amiga is infamously painful to configure on any and all emulation setups. I thought it might be useful to post an 'all in one place' tutorial. It took me a good while to get it up and running. I have a fully working build for Commodore Amiga now on my NVIDEA Shield (2017 model). I didn’t add music to that one, was there any difference for you? It’s weird to me as well that I’ll listen to it on my phone and think it sounds fine, volume is turned all the way up though? Is the marquee video better or worst then the other videos? If they are the same then it’s something else. You can hear the humming from the cabinet there. However the marquee video I’m using my phone. It does a good job but maybe that is also effecting things. I have a filter on to try and remove the arcade fan sound. When I speak the volume hits the yellow range. I use a screen capture program and the sound gets recorded through that. I’m sitting at my cabinet and the mic is within a foot from my face. He was downstairs so I know it’s picking things up. In the marquee video I can hear my kid screen I’m home just before I flip the camera back around. It will actually pick up the faint whine of my PC's fans, I need to relubricate the bearings to kill that background noise. The HD Logitech Webcam I use has a very good mic to be fair. If I record on the Shield TV, the mic is built into the gamepad so it picks up the tapping of buttons and handling of the pad.

I fully understand the difficulty with audio quality. How far away are you from the mic? The "softness" people are describing, sounds more like you're "distanced" from the microphone to me.
